This project involves the restoration and refurbishment of a Mid-century Modern house at Avalon Beach, Sydney.

The house is owned by Trace Architects founder, Graeme Bell. The house was built in 1957, designed by the Architect Loyal Alexander for himself, his wife and two children. The mid-century residence remains largely intact and embraces the key principles of Modernist residential Architecture.

The house featured in the 1958 August issue of Australian House and Garden Magazine. 

Stage 1: Restoration and refurbishment of existing house including the removal of non-original/ unsympathetic additions.
Stage 2: Refurbishment of kitchen, laundry and existing bathroom.
Stage 3: Addition of new Master bedroom wing including ensuite.
